Art Numeral Uno Final Porfolio

     1. Which project was your favorite or most successful this semester? Please explain.

While the clay tile was defiantly not the most successful, obviously. I did indeed have fun working on this project. It was a very interesting project, it was challenging to make the actually make the clay tile. However i had a lot of fun. The sketch of the clay tile made the actual making of the tile much easier.

        2. Regardless of whether you liked or disliked a project, which one did you learn, grow, or developed the most from? Please explain.

This isn't my favorite project, but it was pretty fun. I did learn a lot, considering the original human skeleton I drew looked pretty much horrid. But after a little help from Mrs. Rossi, it became pretty good. While drawing skeletons for a week straight isn't the funnest thing in the world, I did learn a lot! I would recommend you did this with your next students.

  3. Choose 1 piece of art that you used skills and techniques learned from previous projects. discuss your growth as an artist and how you incorporated these skills and techniques to create the piece.

I used a lot of different skills from other projects, but i would have to say the most important i learned in this painting, is probably going to have to be value. From the value car sketches and the value shapes which you will see in one of my previous blog posts. I believe i have grown greatly from the beginning of  the year.  from learning new techniques to just becoming a better artist in general. I mainly put these techniques into my paint in the mountain turning it from green to brown to black, and in the clouds making the from white to a grey-ish blue

4. Which project do you feel was the least important in learning the concepts taught in this course? Please explain.

This was a wonderfully awesome project but it seemed to me to be kind of pointless, because I don't really understand why we would need to know how to make ink stamp like this. Now don't me wrong i absolutely loved this project. i just didn't understand what we would ever need these techniques for.

5.    Choose a piece or artwork where the subject matter reflects you as an artist. One that you have a personal connection to. Please explain your choice.

This Piece refelcts me as an artist becasue, I have always been into things like spray paint art, street art/Graffiti. I had quite a bit of fun making this project. It has a personal connection to me, because the picture is of my best friends dog, and stuff. I love my best friend. he is my best friend. His name is nick. but anyway again I absolutly adore this kind of art.
